Meet the Luxgrid DIALux AI agent: more design capacity, on your terms
A DIALux AI agent for lighting brands that need capacity, highly customisable reports and familiar communication through WhatsApp or Microsoft Teams. Start with one project free.

AI-generated concept visual. Illustrative report presentation, not a completed project.
Your luminaires deserve a practical route into project conversations
A lighting enquiry rarely arrives as a perfectly prepared calculation brief. It may begin with a drawing, a product question, a change of mounting height or a distributor asking whether a particular luminaire is suitable. Before a proposal can move forward, someone needs to turn that information into a clear project scope, a calculation and a report that the next person can understand.
For a lighting brand, the challenge is not only producing one report. It is finding a workable way to support enquiries across sales teams, regional offices and distributor networks as demand changes. We are developing our service around that challenge: a DIALux AI agent that operates DIALux on our own system, designed for high demand and highly customisable reporting.
We are inviting DIALux member brands to try one project free as a one-time demo. The purpose is straightforward: give your team a real opportunity to evaluate the work and discuss whether our approach suits your needs.
An agent that operates DIALux, delivered as a service
We describe this as a DIALux AI agent because the agent operates DIALux as part of the work. The proposition is a service built around that agent, rather than a requirement for your organisation to install our model or manage a new local system.
Our AI and DIALux run on our own system. Your team provides the project information, explains the required outcome and discusses the report and revisions with us. This keeps the conversation focused on your project: the spaces, the luminaires, the calculation criteria and the way the results need to be presented.
Using an agent does not make incomplete inputs disappear. A drawing revision, an uncertain dimension or a missing product file can still change the work. We clarify those points when agreeing the brief. The service should be judged on its ability to work with the actual requirements, not on the word AI alone.
Designed for the changing demands of lighting brands
Our focus is DIALux member brands, their regional teams and their distributor networks. These are the teams we want to work with as we shape the service. A regional application team may need additional capacity during a busy period. A distributor may need support preparing a project proposal. A brand may want a more consistent report format across different enquiries.
The agent is designed to handle high demand. That is a design objective, not a promise of unlimited throughput or an instant turnaround for every project. The useful question is what a particular brief requires and how the work fits the team’s needs. We discuss scope and timing before making a commitment.
A partnership can begin with one representative project. That is often more informative than a broad discussion about every possible use case. Choose a brief that reflects the work your team actually receives, with enough available information to make the demo meaningful.
Highly customisable reporting means starting with your requirements
Different teams need different things from a lighting report. Some want a concise document for a customer discussion. Others need a more detailed presentation of the model, assumptions, calculation areas and results. A regional office may already have a preferred structure, terminology or review process.
Our reporting approach is highly customisable. Share a reference report, describe the required outputs and identify the project criteria or standards your team needs considered. We can then discuss the format and scope explicitly rather than assuming a generic document will suit everyone.
It is useful to separate presentation preferences from technical requirements. Page order, headings and visual style are one part of the brief. Calculation criteria, assumptions, scenarios and required quantities are another. Both matter, and both should be understood before the work is treated as complete.
Customisation is not an automatic claim of certification, regulatory compliance or approval. Specific requirements must be confirmed for the project, and the responsible project team retains its own review and acceptance role. We will not invent a certification or promise acceptance simply because a standard appears in the brief.
Communicate as naturally as you would with a freelancer
A useful service should fit the way customers prefer to work. We see WhatsApp as a convenient communication choice because it makes it easy to start an enquiry, explain a detail and discuss a change in a familiar conversation—much like communicating with a freelancer.
WhatsApp is not a limitation of the service. We support Microsoft Teams too. If your organisation prefers to keep project discussions in Teams, tell us at the start. The important thing is a clear conversation with the person in charge and a shared understanding of the brief, rather than forcing every customer into the same communication habit.
There is a distinction between communication support and end-to-end automation. We are building a WhatsApp workflow that lets a team send enquiries, discuss project and report requirements with the agent, and receive reports and revisions in that conversation. That automated workflow is in development. Microsoft Teams is a supported communication option; this announcement does not claim a live autonomous Teams integration.
You can begin by emailing us or messaging our Instagram business account. Tell us your preferred channel and we will arrange the appropriate contact route. You do not need to install the AI model or run DIALux on your own system to discuss the service.
Why consider Luxgrid alongside in-house designers or freelancers?
An in-house team brings close knowledge of a business, while freelancers can provide flexible expertise. The choice for a brand is often how to add capacity when existing resources are occupied or demand varies across projects and regions.
Our DIALux AI agent service is designed to offer a highly cost-effective way to expand that capacity compared with hiring in-house designers or engaging freelancers. It combines an agent designed for high demand with reporting shaped around the customer’s requirements and familiar communication channels.
We are not attaching an invented savings percentage to that claim. The value depends on the brief, the work required, the revisions and how well the resulting report fits your process. The free demo gives your team a practical way to assess those factors before discussing a future paid partnership.
When evaluating the demo, look beyond whether a report was produced. Consider whether the assumptions are understandable, the requested outputs are present, the presentation suits your team and the revision discussion is useful. Those observations provide a better basis for the next conversation than a headline cost comparison alone.
One project free, with no obligation to pay
We are inviting your team to try one DIALux project free of charge as a one-time demo. There is no obligation to pay. We have not set a fixed pricing structure for this agent service. Any contribution afterward is entirely optional, based on what you feel the work is worth, including no payment.
The demo is an invitation to evaluate the service, not a requirement to purchase a subscription or accept an ongoing arrangement. We discuss a suitable brief and scope before proceeding. If your team later wants a paid partnership, that is a separate conversation with terms agreed at that time.
Existing standard-service quotations or previously accepted paid orders remain governed by their own scope and terms. The invited AI-agent demo has its own offer: one free project and no payment obligation. Contact us directly for the demo rather than assuming that an older standard quotation represents the new agent-service pricing.
An effort summary that helps make future pricing understandable
At the end of the work, we provide an effort summary that covers the project work and totals the revisions. This gives both sides a clearer view of what the project involved and will help inform future pricing.
Revisions are important context. A small presentation change, a new layout scenario and a revised drawing can represent very different amounts of work. Recording what changed makes it easier to understand the service and discuss a sensible approach for future projects.
The summary does not turn the free demo into a retrospective bill. The demo still carries no obligation to pay, and any contribution remains optional. Its purpose is to make the work visible and help us learn what an appropriate future pricing structure should reflect.
Based in Malaysia, working internationally
We are based in Malaysia and provide services internationally. Our location does not restrict this invitation to Malaysian projects, nor does it mean that an international brand must route every discussion through its Malaysia office.
The right starting point may be a regional application engineer, a design manager, a distributor-support team or someone coordinating the brand’s project work. If another colleague is responsible, an introduction is welcome. Tell us which team and market the enquiry concerns so we can keep the brief relevant.
Our focus on DIALux member brands describes the audience for this service. It does not imply endorsement by DIALux or claim that every member brand is already a Luxgrid customer.
What to send for a useful demo conversation
Introduce your company or regional team and describe the project you would like to discuss. Include any available drawings, dimensions, project location, luminaire models and relevant photometric files. Explain what decision the report needs to support and who will review it.
If you already have a preferred report format, share an example you are authorised to provide. Identify required project criteria, reference standards, scenarios and deliverables. Let us know your desired timing and whether WhatsApp or Microsoft Teams is the better communication choice for your team.
You do not need to solve every detail before contacting us. A clear description of what is available and what is still unknown is a useful starting point. We can use that conversation to agree a suitable demo scope.
Email contact@lux-grid.com or send “DEMO” to @luxgrid.my on Instagram. We will discuss the brief, the communication route and the next step. Your first project is an opportunity to see how the DIALux AI agent service works for your team.
